This week’s maker feature is Gretchen Olson - Owner of Crimson Artist Collective.

Gretchen Olson, Fitchburg resident, has been working with clay for 30 years. She started at a local clay studio and found pottery class to be a great stress reliever. Today, she works full time as a ceramic artist, creating mostly functional work with quite expressive surfaces. She owns and operates Crimson Artist Collective, a pottery studio in Verona, offering classes, memberships, and a small gallery space. Gretchen has a passion for helping others find their calm through art, as she found 30 years ago. Gretchen’s work is available in here gallery and also will be showing at Art in the Write Place at the First Unitarian Society on November 22-23.
